Confidence is the key to

Club Confident is a therapeutic program designed to help anxious children face their fears, speak proudly, and live confidently. Our goal is not only to treat symptoms of anxiety but also equip children with lifelong tools for healthy living and skills for managing stress. The program is intended for children ages 4-14 who are experiencing symptoms of generalized anxiety, separation anxiety, selective mutism, social anxiety, OCD, or ARFID. A diagnostic evaluation is required prior to registration.
Dr. Jacalyn Bruno
Child Psychologist

Dr. Bruno is a mom and a child psychologist who runs a child psychology practice on Long Island. She treats children with generalized anxiety, selective mutism, separation anxiety, OCD, ADHD and other behavioral disorders.
Early on in her practice Dr. Bruno saw the need for a more comprehensive treatment program for anxious kids. Although weekly individual therapy sessions are effective, they can be expensive, require a lot of work and practice in-between sessions, and often have long waiting lists. In 2021 she decided to pilot a small group program in her backyard. During just a 5-day program, kids made huge strides in their ability to separate, speak and interact with new people in a new environment. Dr. Bruno knew almost immediately how impactful Club Confident could be for kids and their families.
Club Confident has continued to grow since 2021 and moved just a short distance away to a newly renovated building in Patchogue, NY.
Since becoming a mother to a neurodivergent child, Dr. Bruno took a special interest in providing support and training for parents of kids with ADHD, ASD, and PDA.
